The Norman Ajuga Farm is proud to offer the 'Bronze Beauty'  Our prices can not be beat. The first mature flowers were purchased from "Petals of the Past" in 1991.

I use these plants in hanging baskets, containers, edge of walkways and in rock gardens.

Butch really likes it planted on a sloop in the yard...no weed eating.

This is how a mature plant blooms in the spring.

The Ajuga, Mahogany Bugleweed is a very robust plant. It has a flat trailing habit and shiny, short-steemed leaves. During the cooler months, the leaves turn a deep rich mahogany color and the blue flowers are magnificent in the spring.

After planting the Ajuga in various places, I have found that it grows in the sun, shade, and filtered light. I use it as border and in mixed continers, as well as in areas where grass is shade-challenged. This is one tough plant.

Ajuga does well in a container or hanging basket mixed with other plants. When the other plants die, the Ajuga thrives and will grow over the side of the container.
