The Ajuga, Mahogany Bugleweed is a very robust plant. It has a flat trailing habit and shiny, short-steemed leaves. During
the cooler months, the leaves turn a deep rich mahogany color and the blue flowers are magnificent in the spring.
After planting the Ajuga in various places, I have found that it grows in the sun, shade, and filtered light. I use it
as border and in mixed continers, as well as in areas where grass is shade-challenged. This is one tough plant.
